Onto the mid-50s. This part of the fifties is rich with technological advances and cars became the biggest hit ever.
One of the new advances in technology was the creation of the television. This device was already out and about, but it wasn't until the mid 1950s that everyone needed a t.v. Families would gather around and watch evening shows, or watch clips of actors and actresses. Anyways, the television really created a new way of life for the American people and the world in general.
Another piece of technology was the phone. Like the T.V., this device was already in use, but everyone wanted one. The phone changed the way people communicated to a whole new degree.
The car really took off around this time as well. EVERYONE NEEDED a car in order to "fit in" with society. Cars came in all colors the human eye could see, and it wasn't long until the whole country had cars.
